Just purchased a 1990 (I think) turbo SE, it's been sat up for approx 4 years. Still starts and moves no problem but obviously I'll need to give it a full service (then MOT) so what am I looking at:-

Cambelt
Aux belts,
Oil,
Oil Filter,
Air filter,
Coolant change,
(Brake fluid and caliper refurb has been done)
New tyres,
General oil and tidy up (drivers window doesn't run well).

Anything else?

Thanks in advance smile

Common theory will be to change the cambelt before you even start it up again. It's an interference engine and they're meant to be changed every 2 years no matter, it's expensive if it jumps/snaps.

Congrats by the way. Had an SE for 5 years, loved it biggrin

All the best with your new purchase. In the throws of completing my sons se for an mot.

Cool, cheers smile

Also don't suppose there's any Garages that could be recommended for this up my neck of the woods? I'm based in Montrose, Scotland.

Murrays in Edinburgh have an excellent reputation, although not around the corner.

To be fair, there's not much you can't do on an Esprit yourself if you're handy with a spanner, they're simple cars to work on smile

Cheers, booked into Murray's now. Wanting to keep the book stamped so getting the service/belt done there. Beyond that I'm happy to spanner it myself.

Cheers,
