Bunch o' s. Seems "limited" means size rather than being something special. Bought a 3 pack and the individual bars are tiny. Or my hands have grown in the last couple of years.

Choccy bars have been shrinking for a while now.

Apparently one of the reasons is so that they don't have to increase the price.

I buy most of my choc in bulk from Amazon.

Crunchies are another one. They just dropped with that #joy campaign. A whole 1.5 inches. It's as if they fell in an icy pond.

A lot of companies have been reducing their choccy bars in size so that they are now under 250kcals to fall in line with some new legislation or guideline for healthier eating.

Possibly but another factor is the large increase in the cost of cocoa.

Chocolate bars tend to be an impulse purchase. If the price rose to cover the additional cost of the cocoa people would be far less likely to buy them. Hence, they make the bar smaller but keep the price the same.

The price of chocolate bars has gone up though, but probably not as fast as it would have if the bars had stayed the same size.

I think its a good thing they are reducing the size, they may be tasty but they arent good for you are they.

Multipack bars seem to be smaller than individual bars too.

My husband bought a pack of Wispas last week and I asked him why he'd bought funsize ones instead of normal sized ones. He told me he hadn'tfrown

That's the thing, though. The bars in multipacks were never small. 8 pack Crunchies used to be full size. I used to buy them all the time.

That's irrelevant, really. Why not make them 1cm long then and charge £1 with the excuse that they're unhealthy for you? biggrin

If I want a full size Crunchie, I want a full size one not a fun size one.

Frijj Milkshakes,

Generally on offer fairly regularly but seem to have forget to mention the size has gone from 500mil to 471 mil which is a fair percentage drop,

At least it's stopped me buying them smile which i don't think was Dairy Crests objective smile

Ditto for Crunchies. I refuse to buy them at the shrunk size.

I spoke to Jeremy beadle about that once. He said they really are small now. But on the other hand they're quite large.
