Please can we have an option in the preferences menu that hides all threads that feature a Daily Mail link in the OP?

+1

Bloody excellent idea - such a boring newspaper with such a high amount of 'non-content'. Always seems to incite 'those' threads on here with the usual extreme opinion and ensuing arguments

Precisely.

It's often an interesting sounding thread title which you click on only to be presented with a nonsense opinion on something and a link to a DM article. The thread then degenerates into extreme right wing politics, casual racism and arguing.

I understand it may be hard to implement so maybe just a new thread to capture them all in similar to the YouTube thread?

An interesting question and feature.

Technically it will require some work to make sure speed of the site is not affected if we did this, so for that it would have to go into our development roadmap and unfortunately it isn't as important as the projects we have ongoing at the moment - so will keep it on a back burner and see come new year if there is still appetite.

Thanks for the response. I understand it's probably not Priority 1.

Plus we would see a post count from ChemicalChaos of 290,000 but with no visible posts.

Presumably you never bother posting on any of these threads?

Personally I find it quite easy. DM link means I proceed no further....

Another excuse to put the blame onto someone else, rather than just ignore it and move on rolleyes

Mr. Racing - whilst you're building this, can you also build an option to automatically ignore stupid threads?
