I don't usually respond to poorly educated Tykes, who choose to write in their own unintelligible twang.
Not nice is it?
Neither is calling someone a rude name, which you have done on more than one occasion. Not nice is it?
Don't let the truth get in the way of your opinion though.
I stand by the OP acting as if he is in some way superior, because of money / house / car / social upbringing or whatever. There was a similar thread where I pointed the same out, around someone not being happy at a "lower class" family moving into their street.
The OP can solve this easily, but I reckon most of his problems are likely to stem from his attitude with the guys who did the damage, or their workmates.

You got all that from the OP using the word "gorillas", probably quite flippantly, once? Durzel said:

Have a look through. What you'll find is that I haven't, I may have thrown a lesser insult back at someone in response, but that's about it. You will find abuse ranging from c*** through most other words aimed at me. Hell, a mod even joined in once amd was roundly slammed by quite a few posters for it, sadly that thread has gone.

Looks through, so you do never called another person the "C" word?Don't let the truth get in the way of your opinion though.

OP, you' ll never get this sorted locally. Get on to their HQ and they will manage the insurers and contractors.
Oh, and gorillas is fine, as is monkeys, cretins, amateurs, tarmac layers etc etc. The supposed experts on here like to spouse their working class roots at times but just ignore them.
I'm more working class than anyone else in the entire north and gorilla is a bit polite to be honest.

I had a wall damaged by a neighbour who was not that au fait with chopping down trees. We got on well and he said he'd claim on his insurance. It turned out there was some exclusion in their small print for inept felling so I said I'd go through mine. There was a £500 excess, which he paid, and the total was just below £1500.
Come renewal my premium went up by £40. After much argument this was reduced to an admin charge for not increasing the premium (they'll get you any way they can) but in the end I moved to another insurer where I got a lower premium and cover for accidental damage. It was aggro though.
If it was me I'd opt to go through their insurer then choose that option. If it is a danger then you have a public responsibility.
