Wilton Wake Up with Castrol Edge finale

There isn't a Sunday Service on the 28th, so why not head down to Wilton for a morning?

Alright, there won't be a welcome quite like the above at the Wilton Wake Up next Sunday. It's a far smaller event than the Classic Supercar, not dissimilar to a Sunday Service in fact.

Turn up early (gates open at 0800), park up and chat with your fellow petrolheads, get a bacon roll in and then potter off for the rest of your Sunday at your leisure. The wake ups are always themed and for the 2014 finale the (rather broad) suggestion is 'Performance Icons'. Anybody can turn up but those deemed most representative of the theme will be invited to park in the forecourt right at the front of Wilton House. How prestigious.

And, er, that's it. No need to sign up or pay anything. Might catch on, this car meet on a Sunday thing... Anyway, the Wilton team look forward to seeing you for 2014's last wake-up next weekend.

No need to tempt me either. I've been to all bar one Wake Up this year & have already tempted myself to go on Sunday & have invited a few mates of mine to join me there!

Same here - I will make the effort to head over as well. Not too far from me in Reading and should be back in time for the ryder cup singles - perfect.

Paul.

I have to say there were some random interpretations of the words "Performance" and "Icon" but a great morning as usual, can't help thinking I show of just driven through the gates in the track RX-8 rather than head for the car park!
