I'm not normally shocked by "road rage" videos, but if what happened is as described by the reporter, the nutter who assaulted that woman needs to be locked away for a long time.

It's a good question. I'm so desensitised to violent crime I don't really feel anything about it. My first reaction was to assess what offence I think it'd be as that's what I'd be doing if someone brought the CCTV to me from an investigatory point of view.
It's probably not a good reflection on society I consider it to be quite low-level.

Feel sorry for the woman in green. She should have fought back. These type of scum never get punished and they always get away with it because most people wont fight back.
I remember seeing a very clear video on Youtube of a driver trying to kill a cyclist and eventually assaulting the cyclist. http://youtu.be/CVcpJ7nnLHM. It took a twitter outcry and the local rag for the police to take any action. Even at that, the offender was just made to apologise as no crime had been committed

So a crime was committed and dealt with. You can't receive a caution if there's no crime. YouTube uploader said:

The man doesn't blame the police for the law / policy around cautions. What should the police have done Eclassy? Charged the man to have the CPS knock it back for a caution? You need to do better to turn something in which the source you are sighting doesn't blame the police, to make an anti-police point
If you look at some of his other videos, you will see the cyclist regularly gets himself into conflict with other road users, which leaves me wonder what happened to provoke that response.
