Filled up at a large Tesco in Swansea on Sunday, car still seems to be ok. I'd imagine that Tesco source their fuel from various suppliers depending on price (not to mention how much profit they can make!) so if there is contamination it will only affect certain areas. My local Tesco Express in Eastleigh sells Esso so no problems there.........I hope.

Same here. I wouldn't entertain supermarket fuel in the Volvo, it doesn't run right on anything lower than 97ron any way but Tesco water that momentum 99 crap down with bioethanol. They then get kickbacks of HM moneybags for selling a part-bio fuel. Tried it once and the car drank loads of the stuff but didn't go very well at all.The starlet however... I'll fill that with whatever fuel I have the most vouchers for
