Post Snetterton new tyres - P Zeros or Michelin Pilot Cup 2

FYI, Bob is asking about Michelin Cups (their trackday tyre) rather than the Pilot Sport 2 (PS2) or the Supersport (their high performance road tyres).
Would have thought he would be asking about the Corsas rather than P Zeros in that case as the question seems to be between a road tyre P Zero and a lightly treaded track day tyre Pilot CupsIf Bob is asking about the Supersports, then I can highly recommend them.
I was using them around Snetterton and they were awesome. Super sticky and plenty of life left at the end of the day.
The Cups are also a very good (trackday) tyre. I had a set on my M3 CSL. However, you have to be very wary if there is standing water (ie puddles!) around.

Guys thank you Supersports are looking good. Since I do no Track Days other than those I've organised on here, my priority is for road use.
Suspected as much hence my postIF you do a lot of track days Zero's, Corsa's or Cups will make you quicker (or indeed AD08's )
BUT you will struggle to keep them warm enough on the road in poor conditions
AND they will wear out a lot quicker!
The PSS's have given far better grip than the OEM RE050's on Johnny (no idea what AM fit to DB9's)
They have also lasted a lot longer! (don't know how that works!)
They are dual compound and the outer edge of the fronts on BMW have gone before the main tread
Mainly due to BMW's crap geometry design, a decent geo set up on an Aston prevents this.

You're looking at the wrong tyres, Bob.Cups are the Michelin trackday tyres. Your best bet for the road are the Michelin Pilot Supersports:

I've heard the Michelins perform at least as well as P Zeros' but with less road noise,,,I like the sound of that. Advice please.
Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2,,,deep tread, and great performance.http://www.ferrarilife.com/forums/attachments/mode...
If you're not tracking your car, I'd highly recommend the PSS. Plus they have better tread life and they're less expensive (at least where I'm at) compared to Cups - neither quality detracting from the tire, either. I'm about to put some PSS on my V8V, and I'll be putting them through the gauntlet... 4 track days in a row in November!
Can't comment on the Cups, but the PSS are fantastic if you're considering them.
