One of my favourites is olive, green pesto and Emmental cheese.

Get one baguette and slice down the centre.

Place pesto and olives (black olives work best, but mix and match if you want) on one side.

Emmental on the other.

Place the still open baguette under the grill until the cheese is browning/bubbling, by this stage the bread is nice and toasted.

Force the sandwich together and consume.

Post xmas it has to be turkey and stuffing, truly the king of sandwiches, on white with butter of course.Depending on the moistness of the meat gravy or mayo is permitted.
yes

Mix cranberry sauce with the mayo. And have a side of stuffing wrapped in bacon.

Is that home made pastrami?

I'm going to do a corned beef and pastrami for the ultimate Reuben.

Looks like a Ruben. Corned beef, Swiss cheese and thousand island dressing on toasted rye bread.

I enjoy a simple baguette.

Crispy Bacon
Grated cheddar
BBQ sauce

Quick, easy and damn fine whether its lunchtime, or 3am, drunk and hungry!
