Who like me is exiled to these parts? I grew up in East Yorkshire where I lived for the first 32 years of my life. Spent 3 god awful months in South Yorkshire before heading to that there London for 11 months. Now residing in Sunny Aylesbury where I expect to be until I can afford a buy a place, quite fancy Bletchley.

Any other exiles around?

Not quite in your league, but originally from London until moving to West Wycombe in my early 30s. Still loving it, would not go back.

Moved here from Scotland 10 years ago. Rented in Cambridge for a year and then bought this place 9 years ago.

Lancashire born and bred - Southport later if that counts....
Moved to Aylesbury in 1998, now its home.
It’s not a wonderful town, but it has pretty much everything I want in it.
Most things aren't that far away.

I agree on it not being the best town, but I've certainly been to worse!

I went to school in Aylesbury, moved around a bit: London, Aberdeen, Milton Keynes during my twenties, and now back in Bletchley.

Aylesbury is that bit bigger (good for shops, bad for traffic) but Bletchley has a good location to MK for shopping without traffic being too bad (I use the term loosely!).

I certainly prefer Bletchley as there always seems to be something on in MK somewhere.

Newcastle born and bred, moved to Tokyo, Hitchin, Singapore, Much Hadham respectively. Been in the village 12 years now. I love it here, although some of the people are quite odd really.....

Born and grew up in Plymouth. From there I/we have lived in Weston Super-Mare, Bordon, just outside Telford, Portreath, Carterton, Boulmer (NE), and now just outside Marlow. Hopefully we can settle here for a few years!

Houses are cheaper in Bletchley compared Aylesbury too!

Born in Chesterfield, lived most of my life in West Yorkshire;
moved down here (Watford) couple of years ago
Probably the best move I've ever made !
do miss the county roads of West Yorks though...
