and in about 15 years I can only recall one incident where a one car hit another (that had spun in front).
I suspect this is the incident you remember

Funny thing is I span in the same place this year myself (due to frustration/stupidity), and was very aware that my car might have suffered the same fate (fortunately not).

That's the one I was thinking of. I must be doing something wrong though, because in only 20 trackdays, I've never spun or hit anything or anyone.

I would hope you hadn't hit anything or anyone - I haven't in about 30 track days.

Not spinning is either you are a going too slow, or have got your car sorted, or are a driving god.

Until the last few track days I was always spinning, two or three times a track day apart from at Cadwell Park. Probably the fear of consequences there.
Finally managed to get the car set up correctly, geo'd and corner weighted, and on the right tyres for me, and worked on my lines and speed. No spins now and am actually going a lot faster.

At Cadwell again on Wednesday with three other TVRs and the OP from this thread - looks like it will be decent weather.

Probably the first - having owned the car for 15 years, and done a lot to it, I'd rather not smash it up. That, coupled with a fair degree of mechanical sympathy for a 25 year old car, and the fact I have nothing to prove to myself or anyone else. Have fun at Cadwell.

I fooking hate forums for the fact you get into petty arguments over nothing. I've done a 2:52 lap going through er at ~95 mph, end of kemmel 140. Friend a bit faster, 100 through er, 2:49 in equal car, e46 csl, can post both traces. Being able to do 130 through er grip available through the rest of the lap should have equated to ~ 2:35.
i see room for improvement there smile

I came in here looking for information, I found what I was looking for.

The trouble is, I am finding it difficult to get out. I keep tripping over all these ego's that have been crammed in here. It's like a minefield smile

Did one of their days at Silverstone. Briefing the same, thought no need for it tbh and there's always some less experienced drivers who should not be treated like that.

I agree with an earlier post that these are more like test days than track days and overtaking both sides, out-braking into corners etc. is not my idea of a track day, so I'll be giving them a wider berth.

Lots of other TDs I can enjoy with other organisers, and cheaper !

WTF? With that kind of record I dare say any TDO you boycott will be pleased!

even you can break a 3minute lap in that, 165mph through ER and 210mph around B2.

didn't see you on track at all.. only saw you changing tyres when I popped into your shared garage to see the lad with the Gallardo racer.
