I live next to a social type club at the end of my road. So it's more like a dead end type road where there is a gate to the social club. It's actually a nice and quiet road during the day and hardly any noise but every night at around 12am the staff finish up at the club and basically all act like a bunch of loud animals.

All you hear is them laughing loud, shouting and recently they run out in groups for some reason which makes a massive racket. After about 20 minutes the caretaker or the guy that runs the place drives like a idiots towards the entrance with his music on full blast, loud and heavy base. He then leaves his door open whilst the music is still playing on full blast, locks the gate and drive off like he's in some type of a drag race. This is all in a small residential road with houses on both sides of the road, tbh it's getting annoying now.

I don't want to confront the guy and I want to stay anonymous as they seem like massive chavs, so I don't want any trouble. I've checked my councils website, they just want a daily diary to hand it with all my personal details.

This has been going on for around a year now, what to do pistonheads.

Tip off the Police as you suspect they may be drink driving due to the outlandish behaviour and poor driving.

Or just suck it up, I'd probably just suck it up...

The daily diary is probably for general noise nuisance. I'd think they are a bit less strict when it's licensed premises causing noise, especially if it's the staff!

I'd say call/email the council's licensing department/team and see what they suggest, and mention that everything should be dealt with in confidence. It might be they can write a quick letter to the management, who should be concerned about it.

I'll be watching this with interest as I have the same problem where I live, when I bought the house I didn't realise it was right next to a blasting mine that operates 24/7. What can ya do eh?

Stop being a girl and have a word. Do it when they open up, keep it light and friendly.

Talk to person in charge how you would want to be spoken to. If that fails then speak to the others in your street and check it isn't just you. If it's not, then the council are more likely to take an intrezt if there is a few of you complaining about the same issue.

That's nothing, I bought a house next to a noise factory.
They make noise for Tom and Jerry cartoons.
I didn't notice the large inflated neon ' Acme Corporation Noise Factory. '.
The pops and bangs, explosions and the night sky constantly lighting up , is keeping us up at night.
Hey ho , you live and learn

You think that's bad, last night the OP came around to my house at 3am and nearly kicked the bloody door down, luckily I was still up playing my drums.

Yes I certainly owe you a beer for that one.
He was so busy shouting at you, he didn't notice me hanging out the back of his wife/daughter/sister ( delete as applicable ).

I would love to know how People either don't notice, or put up with so much noise in their lives. Obviously OP doesn't, but I am amazed how many people don't seem to even notice next door's subwoofer set to stun etc....

It's been moved, I presume to get away from the idiots. Which is what the OP should be doing also.

Some people can just switch off or "zone out" in the last HSE meeting we had at work a couple of people complained about the noise levels in the office. I hadn't noticed.

You no what you need to do
Man up and get on with it
People complain to each other about noisy every day probably happens hundreds of thosands of times a year, rarely makes the news when the majority of the time the sane and rational people apologise and try to adjust their behavior. Yet the one time in thosands it escalates, that iften makes the news
