Sidewall size is not a physical measurements like the width is; it's a percentage of the width. For a 245/35, the sidewall is 35% the height of the width (245). So they may well have the same rolling diameter but different sidewall sizes.
And if the wheels were different rolling diameters, is that of a concern for you?
