Missing from Photo OPs in NK is as serious as when former Soviet leaders were said to have a cold.

Perhaps he is still recovering from the disappointment of a Scottish 'no' vote.

NK TV reports he is ill. It appears he may have that rich man's disease, gout:

http://news.msn.com/world/north-korean-tv-acknowle...

An excerpt from the link above:

"The wealth and prosperity of our socialism is thanks to the painstaking efforts of our marshal, who keeps lighting the path for the people, like the flicker of a flame, despite suffering discomfort," a voice over for the hour-long documentary said.

Let's just hope and pray it's nothing trivial.

BBC News article on the same thing;

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-29376849

They say on it that he's disappeared from the public eye in the past. But then they also say "his disappearance may be due to an injury picked up during some sort of sporting activity."

If that tub of lard has ever played a sport in his life (he likes horse riding? Must be a bloody big horse!) then I'd be amazed.

If he's seriously ill then will we be looking at a North Korean version of Henry VIII? Shuffling the wives to one side when they fail to reproduce as he wants?

You can't make this up - fantastic reporting....

BBC News

"His last public appearance on 3 September, when he attended a concert given by the Moranbong Band - an all-girl musical troupe reputedly hand-picked by the leader himself"

And....

"Mr Kim, 31, was in an "uncomfortable physical condition" but gave no details."
