Hounds?
More than one?
That looks like a pair of purposeful boats there
Seems to me that narrowboats fall into two classes:
1) The immaculate £80K jobs.
2) The rusting basket-cases, occupied by tramps with angle grinders, be-roofed with a wheelbarrow and 20 dead pot plants, a pile of logs on the roof, a pile of rubbish on the bank and bottles of piss lined up on the catwalk.
(If you need proof of the latter, check out the health hazard in Ely that's been there for months despite the sign from Ely Council saying mooring is only allowed for 48 hours... where are the jobsworth officials when you need them eh?)

They'll be having several multi agency meetings about said health hazard with lots of Fairtrade decafinated coffec and non gender specific biscuits packaged by Lesbians before deciding in triplicate that it's impinging on said tramps human rights to remove it.
Personally I'd wait till the owner is off to collect his Gyro and sink it.
