hi lads and lassies I have a b16a2 civic.vtec doesn't seem to engage as I cant hear or fell it .the solenoid clicks and is getting power as it clicks at the revs vtec should engage .my oil level is fine.the filter on the solemoid is clean.any suggestion ??
If you're not getting vtec to engage then something else must be wrong. Is the car standard, unmodified? Are there any cel codes? Are you letting the car warm up?
You could have a failing oil pump that's causing low oil pressure, there could be other reasons. Are you new to the car? Do all the dash lights light up on turn of the key?
