Hi,

So several years ago when I was back packing I had 34 photos that when they were taken were corrupted I believe, possibly later on but I have no way of telling I don't think. Initially (back in 2006) I tried to find a way to repair them but failed (I'm far from an expert on digital photography). Every so often I try again and haven't found anything useful but now I've found a tool called 'Stellar Phoenix JPEG Repair' and based on the free trial it looks like this may do the job. does anyone have any experience of this software and / or would be able to help restore my photos?

I tried uploading one on here but it fails, thanks in advance guys!

Plenty of software out there that can do the job you require but there will be no guaranteed results. Some corrupt cards can be recovered, others can't.

I've used http://www.imagerecall.com/ in the past with good results. Give the demo a go first to make sure your card is still readable and not totally dead.

Thanks I'll give that one a go, glad to hear it's worked for someone else though.

I have the 'images' saved on my pc so I don't think they're completely dead as I can transfer them if that makes sense?
