Well it doesn't give much away, does it? Looks like the older one from what I can see, sounds like it, goes like it. Business as usual, but a little bit faster and with the HP4 suspension package as standard I suppose.

It will be business as usual surely?

Adaptive suspension, slightly more power, new ABS which senses lean angle, revised aids. Fractional changes to angles and lengths to tweak.

If it aint broke...

So, top end is different, electronics & loom all different, fairing different, forks, yokes, swingarm different.

Apparantly the only thing with the same part number are the clip ons and the traction rings...

i liked/own the old one - but that full frontal is pushing my boundries.... like a stoned dame-edna will let it sinkin a while.

I always like the profile but they did the impossible with that front end... they made it look worse.
I actually think the front end on the previous one wasn't too bad now! eek
This:

Makes this look sensible:

Hmm, seems like they mirrored the lights as well, why would the do that?

I wish BMW would ditch their uneven front end on that bike. It looks plain silly, always has.

KTM Adventure 2014 has the same system, or at least very similar, I think.

Me too...its part of their "design language" though and most of their bikes are asymmetrical with one side different to the other, its just more noticeable on the front

I think the new bike looks better than the old one though !

think those number boards/front stickers what ever you want to call them are not helping the issue...... still letting this sink in. Does look great from the side profile.

I like the odd front end on bmw's. Definitely prefer the old one for now but then that was a grower for me, when I first saw it I wasn't sure. From certain angles this new ones front looks like a sp1

I agree, I think they are a great looking bike, apart from the silly lights, I wish they would just pick one type and go with it, as it is I'd still buy one in 10 years time.
