I will be there in a black MR2 Turbo, along with some other friends in an S2000 and a Clio 182 Sport, just wondered if anyone else from PH might be going?

As I understand it, the M3 had brake / cluctch failure into the corner, tried to go left of the Caterham, but the Caterham was unaware and carried on turning left into the corner, they hit.

Had a great time exploring the limits of my Z06. Was surprised we were on a shorter loop of the track, as I did one with Javelin Trackdays last year and they used the full circuit.

Shame about the mishaps. My mate in the lime green VX had a con-rod make a bid for freedom on the back straight.

We were there in the VX, Maser, Cayman S, Megane R26 and Vette.

Enjoyed seeing the wide variety of cars being used.

Was the Alfa 145 Cloverleaf anyone on here? I miss mine!

We were never on track at the same time it seems, but I saw you parked up, the Cayman passed me a couple of times during the day, I saw the Alfa as well, but no idea if they are a PHer.

The silver Maserati 4200 with the oxblood leather was a lovely looking machine.

Hello Chaps - someone has just pointed this thread out to me. It was me in the Alfa 145, hope I didn't get in anyone's way!

Wish I had seen the thread before the event as it would have been nice to meet a few new faces - although I did admire the cars smile

I had very enjoyable day, but there seemed to be a lot of cars for a relatively small track (especially in the morning).

Hope to see some of you again,

Philip

Your 145 looked well!

Who did the GTV6 belong to? That thing was making some lovely noises as it passed the pits!!

The GTV6 belongs to my friend Andy and is stunning - as you can imagine there aren't many left and I thought he was brave bringing it out in the rain (i wimped out and left my other Alfa at home). I agree it does make a lovely noise.

Got to say I really fancied a 145 Cloverleaf back in the day, nice to see one still around and being properly used.

As for the other Alfa that looked and sounded superb. I overtook it on the way to the circuit and remember thinking it must be on the way to some sort of owners club meet, wasn't expecting to see it being thrapped around Bedford all day wink

Just spotted this thread good to see a few others there on the day.

I was in the blue mk1 golf if any one has any pics

Lots of action on the day BMW and caterham crash was unfortunate but we all know the risks. Feel the BMW might of been better carrying straight on,

Also anyone get the full low down on the Nissan gtr and maclaren crash? from the damage I suspect gtr was in the wrong.

I thought i may have seen your 145 in forum postings elsewhere on here Phillip. Looks in lovely condition. I bet the SZ is a great car on track too. (I checked your garage!)

Your mate was certainly putting his GTV6 through its paces. Certainly more confidence than i had in corner entry speeds in my Vette!
