I have a pair of these and the suzuka's... they both fit, I'm running the suzuka's atm... its actually the top of the seat thats tight.

I had to make my own side mounts though.

if you want to try a pair of Imola gt's before you buy you can come round and fit one of mine... id recommend you do this before you settle on a seat as they have to be angled differently to what you expect to suit the noble.... its a low car so they have to be raked back.

Now this interests me

I own the largest sport seat specialist company in Europe and have all the Cobra seats stacked in front of my desk.
After taking measurements from my Noble I decided that the seats would just be to large for the car and didn't even have a go at testing.

How did you mount the Cobra seats around the metal struts in the floor well? Because the standard seat is a base mounted fibreglass seat its an entirely different ball game to keep the seat low with a side mounted seat. I assumed they would sit to high.

I would very fascinated to see how you have completed the installation.
Any photos available?

Don't have pics of them I'm afraid.

Side mounts are available as the M400 seat is side mounted... I fitted the passenger side onto the original GT03 runners and the driver seat I bolted directly to the floor as my other half is short smile

The suzuka's are by far the most comfortable backed seats I've sat in a Noble (much more comfortable than the imola's) imo, bloody hard to get in and out of though as the sides are too high for a sports car so ironically i don't recommend them for a noble.

These seats fill the car and look very meaningful, but are very comfortable to drive in and give loads more space behind the seat so perfect for GT cruises round europe which is the main purpose of my car.

Ive made moulds for my own design seat which is my winter project... they will be double skinned carbon with electric mountings on the bottom to save weight, i was actually working on then yesterday, tested them out and they felt great so looking promising smile

Ah I need to take a look around an M400 to see the difference in the original seat mounting system.
If I get time this week i will take the seats out mine I think and start having a look at a solution too.
I have at least another 20 seats within the same dimensional space as the Cobra seat which should then technically also be suitable.

Be good to see more of your winter project. Keep us updated of your progress too.

Here is the final seat I have made... double skin, massively stiffer that the imola or suzuka's I have and fit the car perfectly... I trimmed them myself in leather... clearly they are made for my shape and for me they are right up there with the most comfortable track seats Ive sat in.
Leather isn't a light material so that bumped the weight up, but they are 6.6kgs without runners and they are bottom mount so don't need side mounts.
