I saw a two resto jobs/basket cases on the continent for less than £2000 the pair. If I'd not been buying a house right now I'd have jumped in a van and shot over!
But yeah, in good nick they're not cheap, especially over here frown
I've noticed that many little Italian bikes are still cheap in Italy. I know they've always been, but generally eBay has levelled the prices worldwide really.

Similarly bits for my two little Italian bikes are peanuts (even with postage) when compared to UK prices!

I quite fancy the green one, unfortunately my local Ducati dealer is utterly useless... I wish someone would give bike dealers a shake-up!

Now that would be a great bike to get after I've been car only for the last few years.

Need to do something with those bars but the green enduro is really nice, especially at that price.

Clever marketing, and a smart looking bike. Obviously noted Triumphs approach to the Street Triple, and realised that retro-classic is currently cool.

I'd love to try one of these, perhaps even purchase one but i'll wait and see what the reviews are like before I do.

Just had an email from my friendly Ducati dealer re prices:

Scrambler Icon – Red £6,895
Scrambler Icon – Yellow £6,995
Scrambler (Full Throttle, Urban Enduro, Classic) £7,995

Reckon they're going to sell LOADS of them! I do quite fancy a Classic..

That's a decent price, and yeah I reckon that'll sell really well. Future classic maybe? Wonder if they can mix and match parts, love the wire wheels, the icon would look great with them, plus a termi wink

Yeah, the wires make it for me (those front hubs look bloody lovely too! ((Is that a bit weird to like hubs??)). Think I'd just file off the Classics rear guard a smidge, add a Termi and the bars off the Full Throttle. Sorted smile

The Icon looks great to me, some nice touches and that's a good price. For this market think they've nailed it. Only a little premium over the Triumph Scrambler too, which I'm sure many people are only too willing to pay

I have no self restraint or patience. Just ordered one. (Despite being hugely put off by the terrible marketing video)

Will make a good companion to my '82 BMW R100 and F800GS.

Went for this version. Mmmmm Termis biggrin

Do they do this style with a red insert instead of yellow?

If so, I will be going to order one tomorrow...

I have been waiting for months to see if this bike was what I wanted.

I loved the full throttle as soon as saw it so have put a deposit down today for one.

In answer to the above, the full throttle only comes with the yellow inserts (so the dealer told me).

Now to put the r6 up for sale.
Arghh I really like it but I have a thing with red. Given it's two small stickers I have asked ducati what they can do, if not il go aftermarket. We will see!

Am I right in assuming the full throttle seat is made for one?

As someone who, many many moons ago used to scramble (it was a Greeves, before most of you were born) I'd call that more of a naked street bike than a scrambler. I can't see many getting much off-road use, certainly on those tyres; well, that is if you want to stay on it that is. For me, just pushing the marque as hard as they can, but a scrambler it ain't.

Of course it's not for Scrambling. It's its name, not it's job. No more than a Defender is for protecting cities from peril or a Polo is for freshening the breath. But they couldnt very well call it The Motorbike For People Who Like Mororbikes But Aren't Really That Bothered About How It Goes At Least Not As Much As How It Looks Which Is Fair Enough Because We Are In The Business Of Selling Mororbikes Not Judging People. For starters, the badge would be huge.

I like the green one. It looks fun and it's cheap so unless the reviews pan it and it looks st at the show I'm buying one.

Ironically, saying 'end of' actually turns you gay. Sorry to break it to you like this. Hope you've got someone with you.

Was anyone else as disapointed with the quality of the finnish when they sat on one as I was? I I don't think I could get on with the wide bars and general ergonomics of it but the built down to a price quality had put me off long before this...
