Have removed my tax disk and holder. Any ideas on how to remove the horrible sticky residue left on the inside of the windscreen?

Best stuff I've found for removing glue residue is IPA (not the beer wink )

You have to be joking. You own a prestige car and have no idea how to remove the residue from a tax disc holder!!!

You should get your valeter to do it or you are an idiot.

I can't believe people here are taking this seriously and offering advice.

Forum reaching new lows.

And breathe

Well, not that obvious actually. White spirit or meths stinks, and I don't want that odour hanging around in my car. Therefore wanted to know if anyone had other suggestions that were not so odious (sic).

To be fair this is a standout topic by virtue of staying on topic for over five responses smile

It's all about opinion. I think the forum reaches new lows when people take time to call others "Idiot" without care or concern.

In this case, my opinion.

Best regards

I take your 1 month contribution into consideration and agree I may have been ott

All that withstanding, this used to be a forum for what I consider weighty topics amongst the the banter. Perhaps wrongly, I thought how to remove a bit of glue a tad trivial.

Hey each to their own.

Mine was one of those that just adheres to the windscreen without glue. It is now in the glovebox.
