I seem to be continually browsing the Ultima section in the classifieds with intent but always struggle when I see something I like because, unlike with most other cars, I have no real reference point for what is good / bad / indifferent in terms of spec or even price.
Anyone have any great thoughts about things I should be look at or looking out for other than my simplistic view that "it looks nice and seems on the face of it, reasonably priced?"

This was my old car, sold it about a year ago and the new owner said he would keep it for a year to experience an ultima, so not surprised to see it up for sale.
The car was a well sorted car when I sold it so no reason to think any different now, as to which car to buy that all comes down to personal choice, track or road use, how powerful, SBC or more modern LS engine, gearbox, interior/exterior looks etc.
you need to look at some cars and talk to owners but first have a good read of this forum, its the best source of information on ultima,s available.

I have seen this car at various shows this summer. It always attracts a lot of interest and favourable comments. To my eye this car looks fantastic and stands up to close scrutiny, doubt you would be disappointed with this car, would buy it in a heartbeat if I had the finances....😁
