Oh how do I wish for the FA vs JB battle. I don't think it will be as one sided as some think.
Well, JB also out scored Hamilton and people tend to forget that.

I would love to watch a season or so of Jensen against Alonso.

McLaren need to do that.

I think it would be more like Senna Vs Prost than the Hamilton Vs Rosberg battle.

You've gone and done it now; the Hamilton fanboys will be out in force explaining that he had this many DNFs and this many pit stop screw ups and Jenson had less screw ups...........etc etc etc and actually if you take that all into account then in fact Hamilton would have scored more points, and so on and so forth!!!

Both teams putting out good cars, Jenson v Alonso and Rosberg v Hamilton all mixed together, would be awesome.

Yes, the fight for 5th/6th place would be thrilling, assuming McLaren manage to make a better car than Ferrari, otherwise it's likely to be the fight for 7th/8th.

How funny would it be if both Button and Alonso went to WEC to join Webber, leaving McLaren with only Kevin to drive for them next year!

Jenson has been offered a contract but does not currently agree to the terms. It is being negotiated and hence the dithering.
Are we to assume that means :

“Ron has offered Jenson a 1 year contract as a number 2 driver on a fraction of his current salary, and JB is understandably not satisfied with that”?

Would be my guess.

FA dodges an awkward question: https://vid.me/fiMu

Note that JB looks pretty happy. As does SV.

The back row looks a lot more awkward.

Hehe that is great. JB turning and leaning over probably didn't help Fred out smile .

Alonso was asked if he could choose a team mate, would he choose Jenson.

Seb says "he said yes earlier!", and Jenson leans over. Thats it.

Lewis did still end up above jb on points for 2 out of the 3 seasons together at mclaren, but the complete annilation alot were predicting never materialised, just like it would with fernando.

I think we can all agree it would be tragic if he doesn't have a seat next season.

Very true. I do think its sometimes forgotten though, yes they both had problems, but that's racing, as an average over three seasons in the same car its about as good a measure of two drivers as possible-

2010 LH - 240. JB - 214 Highest McLaren driver LH in 4th.
2011 LH - 227. JB - 270 Highest McLaren driver JB in 2nd.
2012 LH - 190. JB - 188 Highest McLaren driver LH in 4th.

Total LH - 657 JB - 672 Best season driver finish 2nd by Jenson.

Quite interesting stats really, however you choose to read them.
