Reliability section?

Just a thought- I know this is not mumsnet but this would be very useful. Could have a group of topics for reliability, a subcategory for each model (probably split diesel/petrol), and possibly a survey at the top for if it has been reliable or not?
Just a thought but some statistics rather than anecdote would be very useful and it would be nice if we could use pistonheads to get manufacturers to actually act about their vehicles with faults rather than just moan about it!

OK points taken. Although reliability index is pretty useless, cars under 100k and no split between petrol and diesel and averages only, no outlyers.
Honestjohn and parkers are free ones I look at but there is no incidence of likely problems, only anecdote.
