Has anyone had a badly buckled and cracked wheel repaired locally? I googled and there is a place in Scotland that seems to do them but its too much hassle to send up there etc. I tried BJV engineering but they said its too much for them. Its for a spare and is a rare wheel so it doesnt have to be 100%. Thanks!

First aid wheels in North London.

Google 'FA Wheels'

They did mine on my SLK55 and were superb. They have a wheel lathe there and do whelding, painting, striatening, the lot.

Very good service and would reccommend them.

Thanks, dropped it into Max Powder yesterday - seemed very helpful so hopefully he can fix it.

I had a major high speed spin a little while ago and luckily ended up in one piece but with two buckled wheels. I left the car with Autowiz in Welwyn Garden City to sort out the wheel damage and they did a great job. I also got the wheels refurbed. Everything came back like new and didn't cost a lot either. Take a look on their website at the process they use. http://www.autowiz.co.uk/alloywheelrepair/alloywhe...
