I have just completed the bulkhead panel and although I am fairly satisfied with the end result, I just wanted some advice or recommendations on what other builders have used to fold the aluminium over the round chassis tube.

Looking at the panel along the top bent over section from certain angles under the garage strip light you can still see some slight waves. Is that normal or should it be flawless?

I use a wooden block and hammer to gradually bend the panel over 3 or 4 passes.

This panel is less critical than the side panels so just wanted others opinions before moving one.

A longish wooden block (around 6") did the job for me. I finished with a rubber mallet applied directly to the alloy to flatten any hot spots. I did cover the panel with some 3M CF look alike and riveted with black head rivets.

Hi looks good. I had the same issue but to be honest as it is mostly behind the seats the quality of finish you have there, looks very good

Oh good. Thanks for advice and confirmation. Onto the rest of the panels then!
