Looking forward to it, a convoy of Lamborghini's should be present. (Subject to weather)
There is also a number of us meeting at Clackett's at 8 am to arrive together via the back gate. All parking by the Concorde. I do hope the weather will be kind to us as I am bringing my brown one and it has been beautifully polished and detailed. (hate to get her wet now!)Lynne
What a brilliant day. Best car was the F1 Ferrari from the 50/60's. The owner is a really decent guy. Seeing the Stratos rep falling off into the kitty litter was amusing too.
I left huge 11's up the test hill with the Bentley. Couldn't see much after aparently because of the smoke! Told I got the biggest cheer and applause of the day..... Anyone get any pics or video? Would love to see it.
The MILF had a big wibble over the Fiat Coupes - good to know she has good / inexpensive taste. Off to look at the classifieds.
BTW loved the Alfa 4C and 8C. Couldn't believe how small the 8C was - biggest wibble of the day for that...

Awesome day, my first at Brooklands and certainly not my last. Stand out moments of the day had to be the F1 cars on track, especially the early Benetton who was pressing on a bit, anyone who thinks modern F1 has moved on needed to listen to that car Then the Bentley. First run smoke everywhere left wheel spinning from bottom to top. Second run right wheel spinning bottom to top, brilliant reaction from the crowd. I had the opportunity to speak with the owner and was soon handling bits of 'door furniture' and trying to work out how I could add a large english car into my life Finally, that Busa. Certifiable. Up the hill probably the quickest, definitely the most exciting! On the first run he hit the bump and was headed straight for us, woke a few up lol. Awesome day, loved the aero museum and being around cars, proper cars that smelt of things. Wafted home in a friends XKR leaning on the supercharger petrolhead spirits firmly rekindled. I'dd say it's just the tonic if you're feeling a but out of motoring life, it's got me looking for something fun again in the classifieds
I have a few vids of the runs up the hill. LMK if you want anymore. Apologies for the stty quality, I think you still get the (er) drift
You can keep your lambo's and modern day kit. They honestly did nothing for me.

Deffo the biggest cheer, however the crowd held its collective breath as the Mini-van struggled to the top See this which someone has posted https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8y_GJF4oSc around 30secs in mind you'll need your stereo specs for it.
BTW how did you manage to leave first left, then right stripes - diff lock??
Was truly awesome and I suspect you've left your mark on the hill for sometime to come....
Cheers, Pewe.
Indeed a great day, thanks largely to the rain holding off. Last year's event was torrential.
In it's fourth year now the Autumn Motorsports Festival still has so much potential.
