Airtrack/Thomas Cook
Discussion
Stayed there last year for the first time (usually stay on Houx). I agree, friendly crowd, no nutters. The boys and girls running it are really helpful and friendly. The battery on my Rangey went flat on the Monday morning and I was in a bit of a panic. As busy as the staff were, they sorted out a jump vehicle and leads for me. They are all English speaking and will go out of there way to help. Food was reasonable but make sure you book in advance (previous day) or you won't get any! They pretty much cook to order only. Good to be able to watch the racing (or football or rugby or F1, depending what's on) with a beer in the marquee if raining. The toilets/showers are substantially newer and nicer than those found elsewhere and more importantly, are cleaned very regularly. You rarely have to queue for these. My girlfriend asked me if I thought it was worth the not insignificant premium price over Houx camping? My answer was yes, if only to be able to shower without fear of touching the walls!! It's next to Houx, so I could still go visit my mates. This also means it's really close to the tram stop at Antares to get into LM city centre. It's not cheap by any means, but if money isn't the issue, it is by far the best spot at the circuit.

Lifted from my 'Le Mans for the virgin' thread post...
Food package cost us £80 each, that's 3 meals a day for 3 days. You can do it cheaper, but it's the (in)convenience.

We've only ever been private, originally with Vauxhall (who sadly no longer attend), and Thomas Cook Airtrack. Airtrack is very good, I haven't used the others so can't offer direct comparison but from what people have said you can't go wrong with any of those mentioned above.
I would suggest that Airtrack is more civilised, no loud music etc as people are more there for the racing than the partying, and the campsite is isolated from the other camping areas. Facilities are very good, different size pitches are available, there is a bar, 3 meals a day (if you book it), organised night excursions and it's about a 5 minute walk to the track (which will get you to the bank just before dunlop - a great viewing point). Like many they will also offer pre-erected tents if you don't want any hassle and you can even book a caravan! Private toilets and showers goes without saying.
It is possibly slightly more expensive than some but I rate it highly. It also tends to sell out quite quick, but it is a pretty large area and they can take a few hundred people.
Beer was £5 or 5 euros a pint, take your pick what currency to pay in. Quite nice to sit in the bar at the end of a long day trackside with a cold beer watching the racing on their big screen.I would suggest that Airtrack is more civilised, no loud music etc as people are more there for the racing than the partying, and the campsite is isolated from the other camping areas. I looked at it this year as i'm taking my 15yr old son, just ended up being too expensive to stay Thur - Mon. I was booked on Maison Blanc (where i've stayed several times before) but have changed that to Du Houx due to likely camping restrictions at MB. Du Houx seems to get favourable reviews so fingers crossed....
Team Langoustine run a similar operation to Thomas Cook and in the same area - they might be worth a look.
