Hi, the classifieds have not been working for a couple of days now. (for me anyway)

Is there an issue and when will it be resolved?

I can't even see my advert.

We are investigating this issue at the moment - though we are only seeing a few errors in the reporting systems we have.

Can you let me know what journey you are taking to get to the Classifieds, and what part is failing. thumbup

Had a browse yesterday, gave up as the advertising wallpaper made it unusable. Not sure if that is the issue here but enough to not make me bother in the future.

Out of fairness I thought I'd try again.
No still the same poxy wall paper advertising reducing the actual browsing of the car ads by 30%, it really makes it unusable.

Weird. I'm not having any problems getting to them on Windows/Chrome. What devices are you using?

I've not been able to look at the classifieds for a while now. I've learned a lot about the Fiat 500 and Peugeot 404, but I'd rather check to see if my ads are dispayed. Not good value for us advertisers eh?

All, we have identified why some can and some can't see the Classifieds (or part of the classifieds). It is due to the browser of the machine caching the error pages.

To clear this you need to do the following:

On Internet Explorer
  • Go to Internet Explorer
  • Click Cog Icon (top right)
  • Internet Options
  • Delete
  • Temporary Internet Files and website files
  • (or download Chrome as it is much better)
On Chrome
  • Go to Chrome
  • Select the three bar menu in top right
  • Select History
  • Clear Browsing History
  • Select Cached images and files
  • Click Clear browsing data
On Firefox
  • Go to Firefox
  • Click on the three bar menu in top right
  • Select Options
  • Go to Advanced Tab
  • Select Network
  • Where it says Cached Web Content select Clear Now
On Safari
  • Go to Safari
  • Click Alt + Cmd + E

Or you could wait a while and eventually it will come back.

As my advert wasn't accessible for a week, is there any chance I can get a discount to renew it?
