Just a quick mention to see how many are aware that the last breakfast club meeting of the year at goodwood on Sunday the 2nd is all about V powered engines.
Should be fun as they always get a great turn out. So hurry up and pre-register and lets get lots of Aston's there.

Paul , I have been to a few without any problems although had a couple of hearts in mouth moments with prats with pushchairs getting too close for comfort. Met a fellow AM owner who is not going to bring his pride and joy again having been slightly scratched before. The bacon butties are simply ridiculously overpriced and getting out again halfway through the morning can be a bit of a pain. Having said all that I shall probably go again as its a fantastic display.

Breakfast clubs are a must if you like decent machinery. There will be an eclectic mix of stuff with "vee" engines, some very special. I'd bet on at least one Saab V4! And Astons and Ferrari a plenty.

Personally I like supporting these free events and haven taken pleasure over the years having my car on the grid or in the paddocks. Never had a scratch....

Got my invitation email on Friday from GRRC for a grid slot, and will be taking my Chimaera. Should be fun, weather permitting!

People drift off around 10:45-11:00 - the marshals get a bit sniffy sometimes but people do it.

Its easier if you are not assigned a spot on the start / finish straight.

Paul, It depends on the weather. I will be in the States so can't go but it is well worth a visit. (Get there around 0700)

Not looking good. Heavy rain and high winds all morning. May give it a miss as wandering a giant car park in the pouring rain is not our idea of a fun Sunday morning.
