Bashir's deleted tweets..,

Hmmm so who knows what his actual views are now. Whether they're the old or new ones or whether he's right or wrong it doesn't matter, his integrity and sincerity is now shot to pieces. Shame, because I thought he came across very well in the past.

A bit like working out what UKIPs views are when they produce a large and detailed manifesto, then say it was a load of rubbish. Or their senior staff privately discussing how they think the NHS should be privatised yet in public say different.

I seem to remember NF being asked if UKIP were racist and his response was "We're not racist. Amjad? Where's Amjad?", as if he was some kind of "anti-racist" badge biggrin
can you provide the link for your so called 'quote' as google cannot.

"We're not racist. Amjad? Where's Amjad?",
It was one of those TV fly-on-the-wall documentaries which were following NF around during his Euro -campaigning.

C'mon. You do realise unless something is on the first two pages of a Google search NicD and his fellow travellers won't believe it exists! wink

the article has already been found and discussed.
Hard to keep up on this fast moving thread.

Instead of telling us, please tell the BBC:

'Amjad Bashir was suspended by UKIP over various allegations - all of which he denies - shortly before announcing his defection on Saturday.'

I thought the mainstream media as a whole and the BBC in particular hated and lied about UKIP? Are they now to be trusted? This is all very confusing.

whats to be confused about?

JALI said he had told us that B had resigned before the suspension, according to a BBC interview.
the BBC news says the reverse, so I suggested he set them straight.

Frankly, it doesn't matter either way.
He (B) sounds like a right st bag.

They already know. They're the ones that informed me

In an interview with the BBC carried out before the news of his suspension, he said controlled immigration and an EU referendum were "not achievable with UKIP".

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-30967633

The order is
He gave his interview announcing defection but it was not broadcast
UKIP suspended him
News of his defection came out

Though as I have also said on each occasion, he probably did know he was being investigated before he defected.

Still lots of questions for UKIP to answer:
Why they are accusing him of being involved in a selection incident when he investigation they release doesn't name him
When they decided that an incident in October meant he should be suspended
When the decided that his continued employment of someone they believe is undesirable (Bhutto) meant Bashir should be suspended
Under what law Bashir would be allowed to sack Bhutto
What these unspecuified financial irregularities are.

Whether or not Bashir has done anything wrong, and he may well of, I cannot tell, UKIP need to answer those questions or they appear to be guilty of either concealing evidence of guilt, or smearing him.

Oh so that's why he was a UKIP MEP then. Explains it all perfectly.

it really doesn't matter but where in that report does it say this:
'He gave his interview announcing defection but it was not broadcast'?

I see this only:
'In an interview with the BBC carried out before the news of his suspension, he said controlled immigration and an EU referendum were "not achievable with UKIP".'
'BBC political correspondent Iain Watson said: "The Conservatives are standing by their new member - and say that in effect he defected when he met the prime minister.'

If true this article demonstrates that ukip are so incompetent that they could have an mep for 2 years without noticing major problems with their candidate. A man previously defended bt Farage. Of course they may have known and kept whatever it is quiet because they are simple, cynical opportunists who have preyed upon the naive in order to gain popularity. Farage is the perfect politician which is why this whole thread and his holiness here, is so laughable.

Did you miss Dave Abu Cameron welcoming him with open arms yesterday? He'll fit in well with Warsi and the rest of their ilk.

first generation immigrants from countries such as Pakistan come from regimes where what we term as corruption is everyday standard practice,a completely different way of running things (supposedly) to how we do it in the uk . anyone that would vote for a politician of that background is stupid imo. it is not a racial slur,it is just the way it is.

before you get all offended ,have a look at the record of uk councils where there are significant numbers of asian councillors . why would a change of country change the way they do business ? if you are brought up in a culture where anyone in a position of authority employs family members regardless of ability ,and that position is used to generate wealth by any means ,it would be incredibly stupid to assume that would be any different because the people involved are now in the uk.

to be fair, looking at your response to nic d in relation to the "fellow travellers" comment ,i would have to assume that you are indeed incredibly stupid.
Considering you don't seem to be able to understand punctuation, along with the views you express, I think you're the incredibly stupid person here.
