What a start. Fireworks.

Bloke who got sent off deserved to go but the other guy totally kicked it off. Obstructed Flower then went after him after he was pushed out of the way.

Yeah not clever but that doesn't show the build up to it.

Regardless. He totally overreacted - totally unprofessional and he cost Wigan the title.

Was he arrested for that punch? He should have been. Disgusting behaviour from a 'professional' sportsman.

Any BIB on here care to state why Flowers may not be charged with assault?

Can thuggery and disgusting behaviour be anymore blatant ?

Not good. The first was understandable (and a belter), the second unforgivable. Nothing wrong with the occasional bit of biff in a match, but that really wasn't on. Then, of course, there's the impact it had on the game.

Hopefully, Wane will, even as a member of the prop's union, do the necessary, regardless of what's been said in public (which isn't how it used to be).

Anyhow, the wrong team won smile & even worse, it wasn't even a particularly good Saints team. Painful as it is to admit, there have been far better.

I'm sure the teams sponsors will also have something to say. Not a great advert having their company names in full view on his shirt while he is punching somebody on the ground.

Hohaia deserved the first punch as retaliation for his forearm smash to flowers head. Flower was unlucky in that he didn't realise hohaia was knocked out, but it is what it is - an attack to a defenceless man will rightly get him a lengthy ban.

Can't help but feel sorry for him though, he was attacked, hohaia had a glass jaw and he now has to love with this and losing wigan the grand final.

8 game ban sufficient.

6 month ban then, can't say I'm surprised they have made an example of him.

A dress on a horse, albeit a nice & expensive one. Having said that, generally the right ballpark in reality.

10 or 11 game ban is overall the right message (as is the Saints response to all of this). Wigan's responses have been less good TBH.

Can we have a sweep at what point GMP remember where the RCBA file is hehe
