I am planning to go to Rockingham on Sunday. Do they still sell tickets on the gate?

Yes, £34 for adults, they have card payment machines on the gates, but they were playing up last year.

The thing is everyone does it at that corner
Doesn`t make it right though.

Whilst I appreciate the job of a racing driver is to get round as quick as possible, isn`t the idea to try and stay on the tarmac ? That`s a challenging chicane if you keep on the tarmac, they are just straight lining it.

Yeah, it might be the same for all of them, but it just seems very inconsistent to me. Some circuits, not only MSV ones, police the track limits yet others don`t.
Not disagreeing with you on that one but each track is ran differently so this sort of thing will always happen.
The track has nothing to do with it.

The circuit is the organising club's to run with officials provided by the MSA. The circuit doesn't provide observers nor call the shots.

Generally, each track has 2 corners which are observed. At Knockhill it was the run out of the chicane, not the apex, and the exit of Clarks. Those are the two places where most time can be made deliberately running wide. Same as its Lodge and Oldhall at Oulton.

Speaking from the point of view of a driver, some race meetings they're tight on limits, other meetings they're slack on limits. You push it as far as you can until you get a warning. As long as it's consistent through the whole field, nobody cares.

Case in point, I'd have been bloody fizzing if I was Matt Jackson having my best qually lap disallowed for track limits yet Priaulx not having his flicked despite easily being as bad for running wide during the lap.

2 series tourer is a 4 door so that may count as in the range?

Different body shape to the 2 series though could be used due of it. Rather see another make on the grid tbh but whatever rar goes with be good to have them still on the grid.

Has to have the same roofline if they want to use the 2/3 door version of a 4/5 door car. I think.

Nick Foster gets the WSR seat for Rockingham then. While I would like to have seen a youngster get a chance, it does make sense to have someone who knows the car.

Yep makes sense will pick up steady points throughout the 3 races and wont take points away for tordoff which needs all the points going to still be within the chance of the title.

With plato and the teams best circuit Silverstone after rockingham will plato try and let the Honda jump ahead in the points to lose some weight for Silverstone. Then again plato qualified 1st a oulton park and a 1-2 with full ballest anyway.

Going to be interesting how comes out of this round the best, think this be an mg track with Jordan picking up the most points along with toroff with the Honda behind them with bmr very close.

Im going for 6 drivers in with a chance of the title come brands.

Hard to beat the Focus in race 1, they are the quickest in all the speed traps.

The ITV commentators were saying that Rockingham was not a circuit that suited the Mercedes, but Aiden Moffat achieves P8, .038 off pole!
