So glad I can get my CHoC fix again for free, he was basically the only person I watched on Drive except the odd other one, Matt Farah has his own Smoking Tire channel too which is great

Chris's statement about things to come...

Indeed. Could this be the final nail in the coffin for drive?

I'll be cancelling my Drive+ too.

I would be happy to pay for more Chris Harris videos, though I'd like to see him reviewing more normal cars too. It would be great to see him doing a comparison of a few great driving cars you can get for £5k, or £10k.

They are busy doing that on their own.

I can't believe how poorly executed the whole ordeal was.

Yes to this. It's great to see unaffordable cars be pushed around a bit, but what happens when shopping trolleys and rep mobiles are reviewed from a driver's perspective? None of the many review channels out there do much of this; instead choosing to focus on boring stuff like practicality and fuel economy...

For example:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36whvegFIqg

^^ I bought that very car a few weeks after that review was posted, largely on the strength of Harris' comments. They were fair and honest with their own voice and opinion, I thought. (Still got the car, btw).

That's fantastic news. I think there's so much scope for Chris to do other features - I really enjoyed the stuff he did on older cars (like the RS200 and the Audi Quattro piece) so more of that sort of thing I'll be over like a rash.

Looking forward to this smile

And much as it's nice to see someone driving and reviewing cars I could never dream of owning, I hope we get to see some of the more quirky videos to - I really enjoyed the 2CV video for instance; certainly no tyre shredding antics, but still interesting.

Also, really glad Neil will still be doing all the camera-work. I've enjoyed the production values as much as the content.

I'd much prefer to see road tests too, I honestly couldn't care about track tests.

Agreed. I'm a bit bored of lots of going sideways. I want to know his opinion on cars, and to know a bit of history about the older stuff he tests.
