Breakfast and Velvet Revolution run
Discussion
"Follow the route of the most famous cycle race in the world; Experience the infamous climbs (Holme Moss, High Bradfield . . ) This is just the beginning of a three week long ordeal for the Tour de France competitors" Roger Simpkin, September 2014.
Fancy having a go in your TVR ?
The South Yorkshire region invite you to join us for one of Roger's special routes, the ‘Velvet Revolution Run’, taking in some of the Tour de France cycle route and ending up at the Stockyard Truckstop Pub. We will also have a short stop to visit Top Cars in Sheffield, who will open specially to greet us. Should be a great day out!
It all starts with breakfast at the Oil Can Café, Hepworth, at 9.30am, 19 October.
Please sign up on theTVRCC South Yorkshire forum or PM me if you want breakfast, so we can make arrangements with the cafe.
Hope to see you there!
Tony

Well, that was a grand day out! A Velvet Revelation
Thanks to Tony for inviting us, Roger for the superb route planning, and all the SYTVRCC guys for the warm welcome.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself, it wad great to play out in Nature's autumn playground and even the weather gods were kind .......until I crested.the summit of Woodhead on the way home, to be confronted by a great wall of black cloud, dumping its contents on the landscape before me.
So time for the roof to go back on then
I've decided that the Oil Can Cafe will have to go high on the list for a return visit.
Thanks again everyone, & happy Tivving
