I am looking forward to it and on paper at least I think it should be a brill package.

Why are CAR magazine still pushing their printed edition? Surely it's time to move into the digital age.

I just don`t enjoy reading it on my ipad and I prefer the magazine itself but I do get where you are coming from.

I bought CAR purely for that M2 article.

If it turns out anything like that, I have a horrible feeling I will be off to chat to a dealer. I also like the Cayman GTS but I think it's priced too high.

Oh I get that, I prefer physical books to ebooks. Just that I think CAR Magazine pushes their magazine too hard, their website lacks any content as they're always shoving the printed copy down your throat.

As I recall, the latest 1 series is about the same length as an E36 3 series, but is somewhat wider. Thus, the M2 should be the closest modern equivalent of the E36 M3. I think it'll be a great car.

Some lary looks, straight six up front, manual gearbox in the middle and a LSD at the back.

If they stick to that recipe, it will be sensational

I disagree. It should have a 4-pot ahead of the front axle and 4wd. A much better recipe.
