Some guys posting overseas bars which aren't locals ffs ,my local is 485 miles away in Edmonton AB , couple of times a week which is a tad farther than my walking distance bar a home .

Wetherspoons: The Berkley, Bristol - a regular haunt whenever I stil visit Bristol

Isn't that the point?
It may be a long way from home, but whenever you're there it's that same familiar, comfortable atmosphere.

And Molly Gwynns in Moscow is OK, but next time you're there try Scandinavia near Metro Pushkinskaya.

I very rarely drink in a pub local to me. Even just for a mid week pint and a catch up.

There is a few of us who regularly drive 17 miles to the pub, taking it in turns to drive.
