Chimaera purchase

Just wondered if anyone knows anything on the car below. Im looking at moving over to the darkside! and want a car that does not need thousands spent on it but would make a good project to improve.
It looks to have had some nice minor mods and the outrigger replacement is a bonus.
Any work to the car will be carried out by myself so im not scared of any problems but i do not have the room for body off type jobs.
Any info would be great,even if the owner is lurking here somewhere!

Looks nice. The mileage will always hold the price down, but if you don't mind that it looks a decent car for the money.

Mileage is 'nothing', there are a number of cars out there (inc mine) with an additional 50k miles on..

The prices do vary considerably for these cars but it looks a very good starting point.

Looks good, plenty done as well, mileage is nothing, consider the low miles cars, started up, blasted about probably and put away, with something like this been used regularly so warmed up and driven, best thing for them and unlike a hot hatch you cant go round ragging the arse out of these all the time , so not exactly thrashed, well worth a look imo

Sounds like it's had all the right things done.
Buy on condition not mileage - the obsession with low mileage in the classic market has always annoyed me as it has so little bearing on the actual quality if the car.

Check for the usual - hot start, alarm/immobiliser, temp and oil pressure.
