Ticking noise though dash.

For some reason a keep getting a ticking noise though the dashboard when the car is up to temperature and I decelerate.
Its normally after pushing the car reasonably hard.
Not effecting any performance but wondered if anyone had any thoughts?

No, its just a constant ticking.

Mine has developped a creaking noise from the F2 panel, started after I removed it to charge the battery. Goes away when I press on it. Probably needs refitting/jiggling around.

Not sure if this is the same for you, might be worth a try.

Don't think its that. It really is coming through the dash.

Mine does the same. Only on deceleration. Seems to come from the lower left/under the dash. I had a similar thing before but on acceleration which was a jubilee clip on one of the hoses tapping against the bulkhead but can't figure this one out. Constant frequency ticking sound about 4 or 5 ticks per second. Hasn't been so pronounced recently so not any more investigation. I'd be interested to hear if you find the cause!

Good to hear that its not just me. I've just spoken to Andy at APM who informed me its liable to be the throttle servo valves. Nothing drastic just a little annoying.

Ah maybe the brake servo valve? With throttle closed the inlet vacuum will be sucking air out of the servo. I suppose the valve could flap about and make that noise. Interesting..
