Steering wheel swap - 1996 Accord Coupe

Morning Pistonheads people

I've recently bought a very cheap old Accord for some Bangernomics action but find myself increasingly upset by its rather pathetic skinny little steering wheel that even my cat could get her paws around.

I know its dicing with death to mess about with airbag steering wheels, but was just wondering whether anyone out there knows if its possible to put a more modern wheel on it, say from a later model Accord or other Honda.

There seem to be lots for sale on the Bay, but I've no idea whether the spline will fit, or if the airbag will still connect/work/go off and shatter every bone in my face
