What are peoples thought's on this, is it an absolute no?

To cut a long story short, after a pretty much near death experience on my CBT (hehe) I've decided that, this was God's message to me saying - No. hehe

In a nut shell, I've only worn it once, but I don't think it's something I want to do progress with (maybe in years to come I may).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Rawwr

It's more up to the buyer than the seller.

Out of interest, how much did you pay for the lid?

And can you elaborate more on this near death experience?

Well done for nearly dying on a CBT, that's quite an achievement!

Surely if you're a medium, you could channel your spirit guide to find out what the problem was??biggrin

I see it has a map on it of at least Australia and North America. Can't you just leave it on the mantle instead of a globe?

What went wrong on your CBT?

FYI many people the first time they get on a bike, they panic, pin the throttle open and end up with a busted bike in a ditch. I know several people this has happened to. They all still ride, mostly without crashing wink

You may have had a different type of near-death experience on your CBT, all I am saying is that just because you cocked it right up on your CBT, it does not mean you will continue to do so. Crashing the first time on a bike happens more than you think.

Sorry for the delay in replying.

Basically, on a country road, just a nip off 60mph and round a bend, ended up overshooting the bend and landed on the wrong side of the road, if there was a car there, I would have been finished.

If I am honest, (personally) find it a bit scary that you can get a CBT license in one day!

Yep, same. We've probably all done the same in the early days, when you get to know your bike, tyres, how much grip you have etc you'll know how much you can lean it over, what speed you can take corners at and so-on.

A cbt isn't a license.

So basically it wasn't a near death experience and you fked up, because of lack of experience... Which is a given being that it was probably the first time you'd ridden on the road.

You don't half give up easily

Anyway, with regards to selling the helmet - worn once and no damage you have no issues and as someone else said it's the buyers risk if they want to wear a 2nd hand lid.
