Hi, I have recently made seven TVR cars out of LEGO to celebrate TVR's homecoming.

I would appreciate it if you were to check them out here:
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/398936
Hopefully, soon, they will be uploaded to a site called LEGO ideas, on which if they recieve 10,000 supports they will be produced and sold as official LEGO sets for you to buy!
Thanks for reading smile

Those are great, you can easily pick out details in each that perfectly represent the car's they are modeled on, even the tamora is as ugly in Lego as in real life...

Why no griff or chim?

Thanks, glad you like them smile
I wanted to make a Griffith and a Chimaera, but unfortunately their curves are pretty much impossible to recreate nicely in LEGO. I didn't want to spoil them if I'm honest...

Great models.

Shame about the Griff though but it may well twist Lego's arm to produce a new 'brick'.

Good luck

What cracking models and as already stated each has features that mirror the real cars -
I bet they would be popular if made by lego

Well Done - we can see you are a proper TVR nut

If anyone is in the Birmingham area then they could treat Harry to a TVR run out?
or invite him to the local meet?

I am a bit far away in Yorkshire

Great job, love the details! Last car related lego project I built was the 8860 car chassis when I was about 10!

Hi Harry,
Good to meet you and your Dad yesterday at the Classic Car Show - on the TVRCC stand of course. You are obviously a dedicated TVR fan and your models are expertly crafted - even down to the hinged bonnets and folding roofs. Awesome!
As I mentioned yesterday, a few of us S owners are meeting for breakfast at the Touchdown Cafe, Wellesbourne on Sun 30 Nov at 09:00hrs ( unless the weather forecast is atrocious ). If you can both make it, you'd be more than welcome to have a run out. Have a look on the PH S Series forum for details.

In the meantime, it would be good if everyone on here could vote for Harry's models on the Lego website to encourage Lego to put at least one of them into production.

Hi Glen,
Was great to meet you too, what a fantastic show it was!
I probably won't be able to make it to the S meet, as my revision timetable for some upcoming exams has begun, and that date is unfortunately surrounded by exams. I will hopefully be coming to some TVR CC meets in the new year though, so perhaps see you there!
Thanks for the support Glen!

Ah yes, very sensible, study must take precedence.
The better your exam results, the better Uni placement you will achieve, and the better your career prospects will be, so the better TVR you will be able to afford!

It will take a while, but I'm confident you'll get there. thumbup

See you around in the new year.

Hi Harry,

What a cracking job you have done there...
.....I missed you when you visited us at the TVRCC stand over the weekend ...a v.busy event as you would have seen.
.....been sorting mastiff out today getting the Sagaris back to Power etc....just checking the net and came across this...then I recall Ginny ( my wife) telling me about your visit to the stand...and the folder with details about your excellent work...as is the way I was just a little busy and didn't get chance to meet you or see the folder...which is a shame....apologies there...

BUT you spoke to the right people and being a sad lad I would go for all of them!

Well done excellent idea...Ginny tells me that you want to get into car design....doing something like is no bad thing to have on your cv great stuff!

Harry,

Ginny just told me that you would like to have a ride in a TVR because you have never been in one.....no problem I think you are relatively local to us....so why not come along to one of our monthly meetings and I will get someone to take you out I can't drive until March when I ( hopefully) I get my licence back....in fact might be worth waiting til about that time as I intend to take my road legal Tuscan challenge car there on its maiden voyage....
