Pistonheads seems to have attracted some angry haters this year, it is as if someone has insulted them?

Fair play to zenos, this country used to be full of car manufacturers and I applaud anyone trying to produce a new product. I bought a TVR Cerbera new for cheap style and performance, this will help fill the gap that TVR left when they got too expensive.

This is cheap fun

Good Luck Zenos

See that shoulder above the rear wheel? Pure muscle car, that. Yeah.

yes

I really like this car's fitness for purpose (especially hitting the balance between the Elise side impact protection and Caterham ease-of-repair) and, from what I read on PH, the way the company goes about its business.

Doesn't look any better in the flesh.
They have the right ingredients but the design isn't as appealing as the KTM as an example.
I'm sure it'll drive well but they need a designer to finish it off.

Said it before but- there is alot of polite looking at toes going on here, be honest please for once?

It looks bloody awful, yet another sh*te flat panel, ikea shaped, not good enough to be a kit car exterior which will nail the coffin shut on another promising car, it makes me sick frankly to see so little effort put into the appearance.

If you want a really stupid looking car you can by an KTEM Xbow- thats been done, please for the love of your chosen deity lets move on?

It is possible to design good looking exteriors for low volume cars (TVR Cerbera, Caterham 21 etc) but it means you have to put the ruler down and hire a designer, something egg-heads are loath to do.

It sounds like it goes wonderfully but given that it looks so eye-gougingly bad I wouldn't even bother driving one- Zenos, man up and get someone who can draw on board ASAP.
I couldn't disagree more, I think it looks great!

Really fancy one of these.

Well well, a minimum of 250bhp in a lightweight sports car for around 24k ?.........'If' it lasts longer than a year without major mishap it seems to be not such a pile of horse manure as I originally surmised.

Spacious! Given the central spine you're actually on less intimate terms with your passenger than even the Lotus, which may or may not be a good thing according to how personal your relationship!

Cheers,

Having been in an Elise, as a LWB Transit made a good attempt at occupying the same bit of road space as us via my door i, personally, wouldn't drive this car (or a Caterham for that matter) on the road. Yes, you are "snug" with your passenger in an Elise due to the wide sills, but i'd rather rub legs and shoulders with my passenger than get bear hugged by an amorous transit van.........

PH should be giving such outfits a bit of publicity. From a drivers car perspective this looks pretty much spot on, especially for the money.

This is the type of car that PH should be about.

Good luck to Zenos.

Not generally a fan of modern styling, but I do like the Zenos, yes the screen looks a little like an afterthought - that's because it's an afterthought. By which I mean the car has been designed screenless, but you can sit behind glass in the winter or leave it in the garage in the summer. Or drive to the track in the rain with a screen & roof, then lose them for the session - now THAT's a USP. My Fury has a heavily curved upright(ish) heated screen with wipers & in spite of having no heater I've driven it at -2c & in driving rain with the hood on but no side screens, so I have no doubt that it'll be perfectly possible a Zenos like that if you've a mind to.

I wish them every success, & while I'm too poor to be on the waiting list (& have a Fury) I do know someone who is, so there must be quite a few now.

Seems amazing value for a low production car.

I assume the Bac Mono is in another league ?

lots of neg on the look but does it work...aerodynamically...there are some slippery looking cars of this attempted ilk out there that in reality have the aero of an club hammer and some that look like they were constructed by a scaffolder which have even less....so what is this....does it stick.....does it fly

what is the drag coefficient?....does it have an undertray.....should it have down force ......does it work

There are plenty of (silly expensive) trackday toys out there, but this is something else.
One in AM CC100 colors would be nice. I like it, especially for the price.

Looks like a lot of fun, best of luck to them.

Now if this was a Lotus thread, everyone would be saying it should cost £15k and why aren't they selling 20,000 per year wink

Turbocharged with no extras (because I can't afford any).
