Does anyone have one of these?

Reviews seem generally good from Amazon and TFT Central, and it seems very well priced too. Debenhams do it for £465 which seems a steal.

It also has an ambient light sensor which is great for me as I'm always turning my screens up/down all day as it gets bright outside, or goes dark etc.

Nice big size and similar pixel pitch to my 24" 1200p screens which is perfect given I do pixels/polygon work all day (jaggies/ladders are a god-send for 3D work imo)

I have a few other screens, including wide gamut types, so I think I'm covered for all my needs with one of these thrown in for the 'main' screen too.

I really can't see any downsides for general PC working?!

Unless I missed something? It doesn't seem to come up much in many 'what monitor' discussions and I wonder why given it's amazing reviews, features and price!?

I was tempted by the new 30" Iiyama screen, but still no reviews and not that good a price have left me thinking this Ben Q is gonna be a much better buy.

Cheers

Super quick review.

Nice big screen.

Seems nice quality.

Does need a good calibration session to get the sRGB colour space perfect, but doing it 'by eye' can improve things lots vs the out of the box performance.
I'm not sure why they don't do a good calibration out of the box, surely once you know the settings/software it's just a copy/paste for most examples?!

A few dead pixels, maybe about 9 in total. They all seem deep crimson and only on a black background leaning forward can I really see them. 3 or 4 seem to be in a row.
I can't see them at all except when I go looking.

Little controller pad thing is a bit tinny quality wise. But ultimately it works ok and is quite handy. And for the price it's a bargain.

Doesn't seem as big as 32" somehow. It's big but I'm glad I didn't go for 27" as I don't think it'd be so nice with all those extra pixels. Peering at the screen would ensue I think.

30" 16:10 seem crazy prices in comparison.

Handy occupancy sensor so it turns off if I go take a phone call or whatever.

Light sensor so it dims down when it gets dark = saved eyes after long hours of working.

Only real things that have bugged me a bit so far are the cables are quite short seeming and on a big desk (2m worth of screens now) they feel quite stretched to get back to the PC which sits against the wall at one end.

So all in all I'd say if you do any work except maybe photo editing or print type work all day, go for it.

So many nice features I really like, such as quick toggle modes on one button, auto brightness, auto off and on via occupancy sensor, really comfy pixel size etc etc.
And for the price it's amazing.

It suddenly makes any other monitor look like over-specified over-priced junk really. Yes IPS is still very very nice, but the price premium is hard to justify. If this screen was the same spec but £1000 there is no way I'd see over double the value in it!
