Another clanger in the DM this morning.... furious
In that article:-

DM Article said:
The family fled Kuwait after the first Gulf War, claiming persecution because they were seen to favour the Iraqi invasion in 1990, they claimed asylum in the UK and won refugee status in 1996
Admittedly it is the Daily Mail (so caution exercised) but if true that really beggars belief. Do we really have an obligation to accept asylum seekers who were seen to be supporters of the people we were fighting against confused How in any common sense terms is that going to work out well? Why weren't they sent to a 'neutral' country instead?

When the story first broke they were described as a nice middle class family now it is becoming apparent he was just another phoney asylum/benefit seeking, jihadi breeding machine.

I read another article that stated the dad was flying back every 6 months so to no renew his Kuwaiti citizenship, how can you afford that on benefits? I bet having 6 kids helped.

I suspect that his identity was known long ago anyway.

If that's the case, why has it been leaked now?

It's all a waste of time, because as I said, the chances of getting him alive are slimmer than a slim thing with super-slim bits on.

Who knows.

Bring it into the news to rattle the cage, political reasons, operational reasons, preemptive reasons...

If they knew straight away it was their son when they saw him kill the yank, surely that is perverting justice?

If they did indeed realise it was their son beheading US citizens, then they might be soon taking a dream holiday in the good ol US of A, complete with new holiday outfits in bright orange.

Well articles I've read say they both knew the minute they saw him and Foley. s.

They'll give it the burn in hell st, but they'll shelter for as long as possible first.

Yes, wouldn't be surprised if ISIS outed him as black propaganda.

Political asylum cases don't tend to do that.

How can someone be granted asylum because they fear for their lives in Kuwait yet continually visit Kuwait after being granted the right to stay in the UK?

Do we not track people who leave the country? And if an asylum seeker is spotted hopping back and forth to their country of origin shirley alarm bells should be ringing?

Agreed, I'd guess this has been planned by ISIS since he was carefully selected years ago.

we should withdraw all rights in uk and hand the whole family over to the kuwaiti embassy for deportation. they are citizens of kuwait.

I grew up there, i know the games they play. every citizen gets crazy allowances and preference in the job market at high rates of pay. they dont need to be here.

Selective leaking to discredit the Security Services and win hearts and minds of those on the brink over here.

Like I said earlier, the family must be extremely good liars or at least as good as cage.Hopefully an american reader will pick up on the recognition thing and tell the powers that be.Then the British government can reclaim the thousands these lowlife s have stolen from the British tax payer.
Is immigration as good as some claim?

Milking the system, we really are the laughing stock of the world and our politicians just scratch their heads at the mess in Calais. It is now costing us £700k every day to deal with the asylum issue and you read about families like this bleeding us dry while breeding creatures that want to destroy our way of life.

The french have always blamed the yUK for the amount of begging bowls. Not
that there is much begging needed. Its the fault of the French for not having a proper boarder between them and Belgium/Germany.

There should be an Australian approach to this enrmous problem.
The would get painters on the Dover cliffs to paint fk OFF, WE'RE FULL in huge red letters.

Neil: "your spiritual mentor says that Jews are the descendents of pigs, FGM is okay and gays should be stoned, do you agree with him?".

CAGE bloke "sorry I'm not a theologian, I cannot answer that".

Unbelievable, he didn't even try to hide his pathetic views.
