"EcoBoost" in the Deegan 38, is that a p!$$ take??? how can 3.5l be considered Eco anywhere in the world even in the US?!

THat said, I want one!! !Makes my Range Rover look like a shopping trolley...
Because little 1.4l diesel engines can't reliably haul 9000lb of cargo. "Eco" in truck world is relative I guess when you can also have monsters like these.

This one belongs to a good friend of mine. Roush supercharger putting 500+hp at the wheels.

The light bar on top does work and is an excellent and very, very illegal way of clearing up the traffic in front of you on the roads.

yes

This is one that lives near me (not in Florida):

THAT is a pickup! Though, I'm pretty sure the cost to fill its fuel tanks is more than I've got into my entire Alfa! My dad took a picture of it next to my buddy's Austin-Healey Sprite (also red), but unfortunately the picture was lost. Now that was a comical contrast!

Yes. I'd imagine you'd get comments about "overcompensating" and the like, too. Some people will love it, others will hate it. I think the original Hummer was actually pretty cool (though would be completely ridiculous on UK roads), but the H2 and H3 were for gullible idiots (A.K.A., every marketing man's dream). The latter two were simply re-badged Chevys (H2=Tahoe, H3=Colorado pickup).

I remember laughing when Richard Hammond was saying the H3 was enormous, in the episode where he tested that massive, South-African military truck. The H3 isn't enormous (not much bigger than some crossovers). The original Hummer (H1) was enormous, however.

These Internationals are on a whole different level of huge.

We saw some ridiculous vehicles when we were there, it was quite intimidating in our little Skoda Citigo laugh

That is pretty eeeeeek
I take it the USA has no trivial rules like "tyres cannot exceed the front wing in section" then? smile

IIRC, tread is optional in some States? smile

I've been looking at that whipplethingy on the classifieds for far too long. Just need to sell the house and move in to a tent and I should be able to afford it.

When asked why I want it so much, the answer is very simple. "It's a truck with a dinosaur on it, I've wanted this since I was 7"
And only £40,000 less than it was up for this time last year. Must make it a bit of a bargain...

US of A is a bit like Oz. You're either Ford F series...or Dodge Ram. Oz, its Ford Falcon...Holden Commodore,
Me....I'm more of a Ram fan....like this one.

I've driven a recent-ish RAM a few times - it was utterly fking dire in every possible way - I cannot imagine what that thing drives like but it couldn't be any worse unless you made the wheels square.
