Caught an episode of this today where they overhaul and modify a 1972 lotus europa, well worth a watch and something a little different.

Just catching up on episode 2. Some serious work has gone into the Europa. Foose is a legend.

I enjoy this prog too, though I find myself fast-forwarding a good 15 minutes of each episode because it is very formulaic. The Lotus was a nice change from the normal US muscle cars they do. I do think that 18" wheels on the Europa was a bit OTT though. It would have been better served with 15-16" inchers I think.

The wheels were a little ott for me, preferred the originals.

At least TRY to keep it looking authentic... They did a great job on the car but took it too far with those wheels and the S/C. Wayne Carini would have had a fit if he saw that.

Generally though, I love the stuff Foose comes out with and I never get upset when a Mustang gets 20" wheels, a mad stereo and multi-layer metallic paint. I suppose its because the Lotus is British. Or was.
