That's cheap!!

I've been keeping an eye on these... why the sudden big drop in price, is there a new model coming?

Now I need new wheels and have been uming and ahing between these and Fulcrum Racing 3s.

I think this may be the clincher wink

How would these compare to everyday riding with these that came bundled with the bike?

Bought. Thanks for the heads up. They were a fantastic wheelset for the money when they were £300, for £163 its practically theft even if there is a new model coming out they are superb.

Better go and buy some flowers for the missus....

Want, but have no need for.

What's the upper bound rider weight limit on these?

Hmmm, I wonder whether they'd be much of an improvement over the Mavic Aksium's I currently have on the bike?

Same here although if I sell my current winter wheels it's under £100 for a new set of wheels that are 200gms lighter...

Wiggle say 95-100kg, if they're the same as Racing 3s then I've had no problems at 95kg.

Logic

New bike currently sitting on Shimano R501s (taken off my old bike after the supplied wheels failed on me).

Local Bike shop told me it wouldn't be worth a refurb on a pair of old Mavics I have kicking around and a new hub would be required. Or it would have been £60 an end for new rims on the wheels that need repairing. So that's £120.

All the time, the old bike is sitting upside down in the garage for want of a set of wheels and can't be sold.

Therefore £163 for a much better set of wheels than my current ones, I can put the R501s back on the old bike and sell it and recoup the money I spent on the Campag Zondas.

Ergo - Free wheels.

Bought.

Can I get a man maths five?

Fulcrum Racing 5's £138 there too, also pretty good if you don't want to stretch to the Zondas. Not nearly as compelling a deal though.

?? Not necessarily, I've heard of some wheels with an 85-90kg weight limit and at the rate I go through spokes I'm guessing that I don't want to be too close to the limit of any given wheel...
