WTF is it with women when it comes to gas and electric spending, if I took a handful of tenners out of her purse and flushed them down the loo she would get the right dog on, however it is fine for her to waste electricity and gas, arghhhhhhh!!!!
They never turn off the bloody lights.

So I shall be replacing all of them with LED bulbs, at least she wastes far less that way....

I think womens thermostats dont open or something (fnarr) they pretty much all run cold, all year, the mMenopause is just them catching up with the actual temperature.

Treat her to a nice cover or something and some bed socks so she stop scratting

also maybe get her a better duvet 15tog and have a duvet each, get around the problem of sharing 1 duvet and being too warm.
This. Two single duvets.

So, given that my OH has absolutely no thermostatic control whatsoever, not only do I have to endure the smell of warm rubber in bed (no fnaars at the back please), it now accompanies her at the dinner table and on the setee of an evening.

And becasue its now got a bit colder she has the bed one so hot she has to move it ever 15 seconds, honestly its like trying to sleep in a paddling pool.

accompanied to this, the heat makes her legs itch and that sounds like woodwork class due to her unneccesary long nails so I have to try to get to sleep in what feels like a GCSE woodwork proactical next to a paddling pool.

for those that think I'm complaining she has HWBs in july and august this year...

crap rant over...there is no need for them really is there????
Is she on a diet? There's little reason at all to be uncomfortably cold at the moment unless she is ill or not eating enough..... or pregnant.

(Are you pregnant? You might be chilling her out so much that she needs bottles to try and keep warm.)

How vigorous is your lovemaking?

This is an important consideration as I'm sure others will agree.

Bloody dangerous, what if it bursts...
My wife works in a burns unit (NHS), and the number of people admitted with severe burns after an old hot water bottle has perished and burst rises noticeably at this time of year.

If she is itching she is alergic to the rubber.

Ahh yes the dog, perhaps that is why my better half hasn't mentioned the electric blanket yet, which is hidden up in the loft!

Women at work here have mini ones on their laps in winter as it's sooooo cold apparently.
I complained how hot it was on an overnight flight back from the US and the hostess looked at me like I was stupid and produced a mini hot water bottle from down her top!

Why? You're too hot not too cold.

Or was she one of the stunning but completely dumb types that so many Pistonheaders appear to be married to?

If it's the rubber smell you're worried about get a plastic hot water bottle

Presumably to point out that she was cold and therefore he was mad to suggest he was too hot?

To be honest I'm not too surprised at the proliferation of frozen partners in mild weather given the overall preference in here to date skeletons with skin grafts.

Remember that nice hot few weeks we had this summer? OH was still driving round with her heated seats on full blast and climate set to 26C (default for her). It's awful frown

Seriously; 26C, it must be stifling?

I find it too hot in the car if the climate control is on 20C, then again I prefer the cold; the wife thought I was odd as I walked the dog in my shorts last night and it was 10C.
